Now that’s a first

I’ve finished reading Fifty Shades of Grey below you will find my humble opinion about it and I hope it helps you if you’re wondering to read it or not.

I saw the name few times randomly on tumblr,  by the columnist I intend to read daily, someone’s comment after an instagram photo so out of my curiosity I wanted to read it, don’t know why there is such a buzz on the internet though. After all it’s just a modern day love story. A young talented and super rich businessman who needs therapy for lifetime obviously, is falling in -lets say love- with..with the most stupid girl I could ever imagine. Something happens in books or in fairy tales only.

Main character is kind of a shabby girl and this book made me laugh few times by her behaviour. It’s a catchy book you may like if you enjoy watching romantic-comedies as well. They say it’s erotic I don’t know why, only boring part I encountered was about sexual intercourse where author described play-by-play from the vision of main character, Anastasia. Okay about that you know, I personally used to observe the world around me as a male being for the last three decades nearly, that being said it’s odd and weird and especially boring to read what my sexual pleasure would be like if someone touches to my clitoris. Because I don’t have one for god’s sake!! lol And I don’t wanna imagine that. See? The way author has written this book; women seems to favor it much more than men understandably.

So should you read this book?
I haven’t read second and third book but I heard they are less likely first one in terms of sex scenes. It’s not a master piece, for me it was easy to read in English (Turkish and Russian translations are on the way btw). You should ask yourself can my life be as empty as readers in US and UK, people who made this book a best seller there, either way I think you should go for it before Teens Choice Award and Hollywood ruins it or in case Kristen Stewart gets the role for Anastasia. :)

I didn’t write this to assault or abuse people who enjoyed 50 Shades of Grey more than I did. Although I highly respect the author E.L. James even though I don’t know her. Well lads let’s just be honest there, soon I will grab a coffee and will continue to look at those sexist images in my dash and you will be on your way to grab a diet-coke and worry about your fats perhaps while we’re both so occupied reblogging stupid stuff on tumblr BUT then she published three volumes of books in her life how many of us achieved that?
