I was surrounded by thousands of fish that moved in synchrony because of the predation that was happening. It was an incredible experience.

Do you know the one on the left? Yes you do.I saw on news today. She’s a celebrity, a mother, someone who has a brilliant career probably better than most of us on Tumblr and 34 years old. And she’s done something fearlessly in terms of saving the nature and its delicate animal ecosystem while we were too busy whining about our silly lives in-front of a computer via Tumblr, Facebook or elsewhere.
Lucy Lawless. Xena, Domina and a Greenpeace Activist.

Police arrested actress Lucy Lawless and five Greenpeace activists Monday, four days after they climbed onto an oil-drilling ship to prevent it from leaving a New Zealand dock.
“This chapter has ended, but the story of the battle to save the Arctic has just begun” Lucy Lawless said.
Greenpeace says 133,000 people sent emails to Shell, telling them to abandon plans to drill for oil in the Arctic.

You know I admired her. I wish more celebrities could use their fame to draw attention on nature to inspire people and increase the awareness.ʕ ´ᴥ`ʔ  Happy International Polar Bear Day btw

caringworld:

Save the last 130 Western Gray Whales The western gray whale is on the edge of extinction. There are probably fewer than 130 remaining with less than 26 breeding females. Every year, they come to feed off the coast of Sakhalin Island, Russia, but now a new oil platform threatens the survival of this critically endangered whale.
