ilovecharts: Here’s a really interesting photo, an intern from Facebook wanted to examine the locality of friendships, pulling some data from Facebook he created this image. What’s incredible is that lines don’t represent coasts or rivers or political borders, but real human relationships. Each line is a friendship between two people, and with enough information these friendships give us a surprisingly accurate map of the world, minus Russia, apparently Facebook isn’t too big over there.  You can read more about it here. lol minus Ukraine too.. Russia and FSU countries are actually using Vkontakte.

How many pictures do you have in your room


I have few. Some of them posters, some cool things from my Tumblr likes, a photo of me with mates from a fun night that I printed and finally as a picture frame my parents on my desk. I would take a picture of it though but I aint home atm lol.

Day 31: A bit about your social life outside of tumblr

First of all Tumblr isn’t a social life as I believe nothing you do in front of a computer should be considered socialising. Yep.

My social life is quiet simple spending me time with mates usually. Just regular things I do, however doubling the fun with these lads.

  2. Ilayda - this ones also my cousins’ name meaning of water fairy in ancient shaman
  3. Sian - I don’t know about you but I’ve never seen an ugly Brit girl named Sian :)

Fourth and fifth also my cousins’ names.

Boys

  1. Aşkar - this the name of my childhood friend. Means war horse in ancient Turkish tongue
  2. Toprak - earth
  3. Kaan - khan
